The TW-522 is the latest wireless Wallplate for the T5 PowerBroadband family. The T5 PowerBroadband leverages the telephone-grade wire already in the walls of your building to transform old copper wire into a high-speed network for extended wireless and wired networks. Designed for rapid and tamper-proof installation, the TW-522 is an affordable option to support higher capacity growth of network devices and new hotel services.

Business and leisure travelers refresh their mobile device about once every 18 months. Today, hotels are faced with an influx of new devices from smartphones to tablets. The TW-522 is designed purposely for hotels and other multi-tenant buildings with dual radios for 2.4GHz and 5GHz access, along with new 802.11AC wireless technology. The TW-522 puts the wireless network right where the guest is – in the room.


"SET IT AND FORGET IT" TECHNOLOGY

The TW-522 is compatible with the TS-524 Switch already installed in many hotels. The TW-522 is automatically adopted, provisioned and powered remotely by the TS-524 Switch in the telephone wiring closet. Network, RF, and client connections are monitored in real time with automatic recovery, correction and error avoidance.


ENHANCED NETWORK AND DEVICE MANAGEMENT

Each TS-524 Switch will support 24 wireless wallplates, and multiple TS-524 Switches will coordinate together, providing a single point of management for the entire network. Automatic adoption, provisioning and advanced network diagnostics can be accessed from a single login. TS-524 remembers the wireless performance data, so that a returning wireless device can be analyzed even when a time gap exists. All critical and valuable performance and error metrics are graphed over time and aligned to easily spot trends and proactively manage the network.
